Have lived in Colorado most of my adult life. Retired after teaching full-time orchestra in Colorado Springs CO District Eleven for about 37 years. Have been teaching part-time with the same district for 11 years now doing orchestra at one elementary school. Attend as many concerts as I possibly can and enjoy traveling throughout Colorado.
School Story

Favorite memories revolve around the musical, "L'il Abner," orchestra and music shenanigans, and some great teachers: Chas Musgrave, Doris Rue, Florence Wollerman, Cliff Davenport and Delores Price.

Ran into our principal, Mr. Davis, out here in Colorado Springs at a donut shop! He passed away about 10 or 15 years ago (could be longer). He looked the same as his yearbook photos. He was living here back in the 80's.

Music was how I made it thru HS. :-) And it became my lifelong profession. Not band but in the orchestra field. And you mentioned L'il Abner; a highlight for me as well.
