Sad to hear this. Never knew it. Hopefully, he was a victim of the racist ignorance of his times, and would not be like that if he lived today!

New announcement to this website from Jacquelyn M. Vander:
Marion, there are two sides to the life of Robert Wadlow. It is well known in the the Black Community, that he was not so nice to his Afro American classmates. Fact is he would stand above them and disgustingly spit on them.

It has been an honor Dad.

Randy Lee Turk 1946-2021

From my sister:

"Yesterday we sat with my dad and laughed and talked and listened to music. Last night we watched the sunset, listened to Edith Piaf, placed a Brown Scapular necklace around his neck and prayed, sprinkled holy water and tucked him in. I told him he couldn’t go on my sister’s birthday (2/22). He waited until 1:15 a.m. on 2/23. ❤️"  "Non, je ne regrette rien."
