Brenda Ann Sancamper
Godfrey - Brenda Ann Sancamper, 77, of Godfrey, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Belleville Memorial Hospital.
She was born on March 5, 1947, in Alton, the daughter of the late Graves and Jo Ellen (Moore) Todd.
Brenda married Edward "Ed" Sancamper on June 8, 1968, in Alton. He preceded her in death in 2019.
She graduated from SIUE with a Bachelor's in Education and taught in Alton School District and retired from Houston School District in Texas. Brenda enjoyed reading, games, puzzles, cooking, and going to dinner and traveling with her close friends.
Brenda is survived by her brother-in-law Bob (Becky) Sancamper, and sister-in-law Sue Frederick; several nieces and nephews, Teddy, Greg and Nate Sancamper, Jason, Jamie, and Chad Frederick, Brandy Beilsmith, Brittney Brown, and Mandy Hand; several cousins and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother-in-law Ted Sancamper.
Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of funeral service at noon on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Brighton.
Burial will follow at Brighton Cemetery.
