Richard was born on August 11, 1943 and passed away on Friday, June 19, 2015. Richard was a resident of Godfrey, Illinois at the time of his passing. He was married to Judy. Visitation will be held Monday, June 22, 2015, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Godfrey. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2015, at 10:00 am at Community Christian Church in Alton with Pastor Tom Cater officiating. Burial will take place in Valhalla Memorial Park. Military burial rites will be performed by VFW Post #1308. Memorials may be made to Community Christian Church, 2345 Union School Rd., Alton, IL 62002.
