Katherine M. Smith nee Zapf of Saint Charles, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2020.
Kathy is survived by her Husband – Larry James Smith, Son – Robert “Bob” (Julie) Smith, Daughter – Debbie (Brian) Chisnell, Sister – Nancy Blankenship, Grandchildren – Tyler (Courtney) Smith, Megan (Nick) Bennett, Andrew Chisnell, Hannah Chisnell, Katie Smith, and Great-Grandchildren – Hayden, Brynlee, and Emma. She was a Cousin, Sister-in-law, Aunt, Great-Aunt, and Friend.
Kathy was preceded in death by her Parents – Frank and Lucille Zapf.
Kathy loved her family deeply. She always said she should have had grandchildren first, as they walked on water next to her. Quilting was her passion, as well as any craft project. She encountered lifelong friendships through her time at SSM, St. Joseph Hospital, in St. Charles. She will be dearly missed by all.
