MARSHA FRANKFORD

BETHALTO — Marsha Ruth Frankford, 68, passed away at 11:13 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2016 at home with her family by her side.

She was born on October 21, 1947, in Alton, Illinois, the daughter of Marshall and Ruth (Carey) McDuffy.

Marsha married Roger Frankford on June 4, 1967, in Bethalto. He survives.

She worked at Owen's Illinois Glass Manufacturing and enjoyed painting, drawing and photography.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a brother and his wife, Bruce and Pam McDuffy; nieces, nephews and their spouses, Heather and Carl Davis, Ryan Smith and Tammy Case, Danielle and Mike Robinette, Kelly Sydnor, and Cody Booten and Amanda Torres; great nieces and nephews, Keaton, Cole, Avy Day, Jenna, Jessa, Gage, Mia and Charles; and brother-in-law Joe Martinez.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Brenda Sue Martinez and Janice Elaine Booten.

Visitation will from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2016, with a service beginning at 1 p.m. at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto.

Burial will follow at Fosterburg Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to The Alzheimer's Association .

Also a Humboldt Kindergardener....I borrowed her girls bicycle. I learned how to ride on it.  She lived accross the street from me on Sixth and Spring Streets..I lost track of her after grade school...Her dad raced hot rods on dirt track at Godfrey, I went to she him race once...very cool...oh and Thanks Marsha.
