So sad to see that my best friend in high school and roommate at nursing school - Pam Lawless Arnold - has died. After she married in 1967 as so often happens we lost touch. She and her husband were living in Texas for a long time. They moved to Kane in the last few years to be close to his mother. I managed to get in touch with her when her mom died. But other than a long conversation the one time I never heard back. There were several of us that were inseparable -Pam, me, Janet Hopkins. Diane Boulds, Betty McCormick and Phyllis Allen. Lost touch with all of them. Except for me and Phyllis the others are all deceased now. Makes you think about your mortality. I remember my nickname was Windy, Pam was Pammie, Janet was Hoppy. Diane was Didi, Betty was Beanie. Don't remember Phyllis's nickname.  I envy those classmates that have kept their good friends from high school close.

Hi Linda, I am sorry that your friend has died. Pamiela was so pretty! If she was your friend, then she was my friend also; even though I wasn't part of your group, I know what you are feeling. If it helps, I believe most us from '65 have experienced these same thoughts. It's so wonderful to have this site that enables us to share. God bless.
