Did you know that Ellen Halpin, their oldest daughter, was one of the original chorus members on the Dean Martin Show? In the musical question skit at the end of each show, the dnacers sang a lead-in song lyric, and Dean Martin sang a Dean Martin-type reply. Ellen wore a Middy shirt and always sang "I am sixteen going on seventeen", and Dean got to do a lecher-type reply!
Peggy Hutchison Ellen was later a script supervisor on "Everybody Loves Raymond".

Paul Edward Podhorn Jr. If Clement fought on Tarawa and Iwo, I'm sure glad he didn't take offense at my joking about Miss Ann being my first true love in 7th grade (1959) when we had dinner in 1977 because those were tough tough Marines. The Halpins, including at least one daughter, made a lasting impression in 1959's $10 dance classes, courtesy of my parents' generosity.
