Marion Foster (Dimond)
Wife of our classmate, Joe Rallo:
Shirley Ann Jacobs Rallo, a native of Elyria, Ohio and a resident of Spanish Fort, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023, at the age of 80.
In her high school days, Shirley was a featured twirler. She worked for Civil Service for 40 years as a dental technician at Fort Rucker. Shirley loved being outdoors in the sun, whether it was going to the beach or tanning by the pool. She always looked great, you'd never see her without her hair, make-up and nails being done. She always kept her house clean and enjoyed shopping trips to the dollar store. But most of all Shirley loved her family and friends.
Shirley is preceded in death by her parents, Jane Husbands and Vernard Jacobs and her son, Brad Yuhas.
She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years, Joseph Rallo; children, Chris Yuhas (Lisa) of Panama City, FL and Angel Courtney (Brian) of Spanish Fort, AL; grandchildren, Destiny, Hobie, Rayce, Christal, Michael, Skylar and Chance; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother, Terence Husbands (Valarie); and her dog, Bella; other family members and friends.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 4, 2023, at Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos Parish, 31122 US Highway 31 in Spanish Fort, AL, at 1PM. There will be a time of visitation prior to the service at 12:30PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society at https://donate.cancer.org/?campaign=honormemorialpage
