He was born on Dec 30, 1946 in Alton, IL to John A & Della May (Kogel) Laslie..He married Tamara R (Pickel) Laslie on April 3, 1993 in Wood River, IL. She survives along with a daughter & son in law; Nicole & William Parris, and 5 sons & 4 daughters in laws: John A III & Shelly Laslie, Dan & Renee Laslie, Matt & Nadia Laslie, Eric & April Laslie and Cory Stucker, 9 Grandchildren and sister & brother in law; Della “Sue” & Robert Denother.He was preceded on death by his parents and 1 brother: Dave Laslie . Visitation will be 9-11 am Fri Aug 25, 2017 at Targhetta &Wooldridge FH in Brighton Graveside Services will be at 11:30 am on Fri Aug 25, 2017 at the Fosterburg Cemetery. Burial will be in Fosterburg Cemetery Memorial may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
