Poem--Steppin on 70

Another great poem from Moine McGibany!

Steppin' on 70

Dear old Alton friends
trippin' down the road
Lord knows where they're going
or where they've been
Steppin' on 70
and pray in' for more
before the Big Man closes the door
Movin' a little slower
Hate this gettin' older
We've shared our tears
and calmed each other's fears
Been there for each other
Sister to sister and brother to brother
Lost friends along the way
but their memories will remain
We've laughed and cried together
more laughter than the other
Just old friends
Hoping there's no end
Just trippin' down the road

Moine
